Steven from EVO plumbing was friendly and accurate in diagnosing the issue with my failing hot water cylinder issue. I was not convinced but he was correct about my thermostat being the problem. He replaced the faulty item quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend him

Brilliant service by the gas safe engineer. The gentleman was friendly, knowledgeable and professional , and he did a very good job replacing the gas hob in the work surface and changing pipework to match the new unit

We were delighted with the work carried out by Steve. We Contacted tEVO plumbing and heating after our normal gas engineer said he would not be able to get to us until next week. Steve came to us within 2 hours of us calling up. He fixed a pump issue on our heating system and was also able to get a couple of radiators working for the first time in years, that our previous plumber had said was not possible without altering pipework. We will now be using Steve for all future work
Boiler service and gas fire safety check and clean. Really happy with the service. They turned up on time, were super friendly, and kept everything clean and tidy. I felt like I could really trust them, and they took the time to explain everything in a really reassuring way. You could tell they actually cared about doing a good job. Felt like our old boiler was given true tlc and would definitely recommend and use again!

Before you hire a plumber
Agree the call-out fee, the hourly or fixed rate, and whether parts are charged on top — in writing — before an emergency plumber starts. Out-of-hours overcharging and 'while I'm here' add-ons are common complaints.
Be wary of a plumber who, on a first visit, says your whole system or boiler must be replaced — get a second opinion and an itemised quote (parts and labour separately) before agreeing to major work.
Gas and boiler work is a separate, regulated trade — not general plumbing. Make sure anyone working on a gas appliance is specifically registered to do gas work, and ask to see that registration before they start.
Look for consistent reviews across several named sources, not one polished profile.
Check any verified credentials, and that the business details independently check out.
