Gary has completed a few jobs for us and on this occasion it was a Patio and French drain. He does a variety of work and the quality of his work is great. He is very experienced and knowledgeable, doesn't cut corners and will always give good advice when necessary. He has pride in doing a good job and works quickly and efficiently. Perhaps most importantly, Gary is reliable. If he says he's going to turn up he turns up and doesn't let you down. He's highly recommended.

Gary is exceptional. Rarely can you find someone this good, knowledgeable and conscientious! He can follow plans with ease, understands everything he is doing (understands what should be done too!!), advises and can quite frankly do whatever you need! He's done countless things for us, but the last job for us was converting a loft - not a small loft, a huge loft that is now a 2 bed flat - and upgrading and converting the rest of the building to 2 further flats. Works included, re roofing, bricklaying, windows, doors, insulating walls and floors, sound proofing, plastering, the list goes on!

Gary removed a fireplace for us and made good the wall. He’s clearly very talented and really cares about doing a great job and that really comes through in the detail of his work. I would completely trust Gary for any future building needs. I find him very reliable, honest and friendly.

Gary handled everything we needed including the steel ordering, skip hire, and completing the work quickly but still to a great standard. I have used Gary many times and he always does a great job. Nothing is too much trouble and he is very reliable, clean and tidy. He seems to be able to handle all types of building works from fitting kitchens, bathrooms and tiling to loft conversions including roofing. Can’t recommend him enough.

We asked Gary of GFB builders to carry out some redecoration and refurbishment work which was required. Gary has worked with us before and apart from being a really good and knowledgeable builder he is a thoroughly good guy and always straight and fair. There's not much he doesn't know and he always starts and finishes when he says he will. Super reliable we are very happy with what he's done for us.

This is the 2nd time we have used Gary, and again he has excelled. We have completely redone our kitchen and utility room, including a tiled underfloor heated floor. Our house is a little old, so the floor was uneven and the walls were wonky, but those challenges were overcome, and the new kitchen was finished on time and to a very high standard. As usual, Gary cleared up at the end of every day. We have already booked him for a bathroom renovation in 4 months time.

This is the 3rd time we have used Gary for building work on our house. He is amazing, professional and quick. His attention to detail is outstanding. Gary has recently completed our Kitchen and utility room. His workmanship is stunning. He is also quick and accommodating. We work from home and have 2 little ones and the disruption to having our kitchen and earlier in the year both our bathrooms with Gary was so minimal! And that is gold in my book. Just a lovely person who happens to be one of the best builders/tradesmen we have worked with. Will always and only go to Gary for any works

The bathroom required complete refurbishment. It has been transformed from a drab and dreay room to a plush stylish boudoir. Gary treated our house as his own, as in he left where he was working spotless when he finished for the day. Cannot recommend highly enough

Gary was asked to price for a job to redecorate/refurbish my house as I am looking to move my elderly mother in. Once we had agreed a price and time frame he set to work. Through the project Gary was professional at all times and very knowledgeable. He would always come to me with solutions if there were issues. I'm really pleased with the result and how the project went and that is due to Gary's professionalism, good humour and commitment to doing a good job. Gary was very professional and work was carried out very quickly. Hard worker and didn't even stop for lunch like alot of tradesmen. Done a wonderful job fitting new downstairs toilet with basin and window. Will only be using Gary for future work.
