Excellent Service
Highly recommended company. We needed our (very) tired old boiler replaced and had several quotes to do so. Appears a long summer heatwave is the ideal time to do so if you have the choice! Hertford Plumbers' service, communication and attention to detail made them stand out for us in a skilled field of competition. They were not the cheapest, most were in the similar price range, but were very good value. We were impressed with their service, knowledge and skill set. They carried out the work quickly and efficiently in a polite and respectful way. They didn't waste time or resources and tidied up after themselves. At every stage they kept us updated as to what was happening and checked that we were happy with everything. After the work was completed they said that they had not had to replace the piping they had expected to, and they reduced our invoice accordingly. How many companies would do that?! We were impressed and pleased with their overall service, quality of work, and customer engagement, all done in a friendly way. We would recommend them highly. Particular thanks to John and Mark.

Reliable & Professional Service
Hertford Plumbers have performed a number of jobs for us over perhaps five years. These include a boiler replacement within a slightly complex two-zone 'legacy' system (without any previous system plans of course), boiler repair and providing Landlord's Gas Safety certificates for a rented property. Importantly for me, they are locally-based in a business premises in Ware. John is approachable and straightforward in discussing work by phone and email. His colleagues are polite and professional. John arranged a short-notice boiler call-out for us a few days before the Christmas holidays this year at a time when things were 'shutting down'. I recommend Hertford Plumbers to others and will continue to use them myself.

Replacement of failed old pressure boosting pump
Very old Stuart Turner pressure boosting pump failed last week depriving me of bath/shower. Called Rob at Hertford Plumbers who advised on replacement and costs and ordered it. Arrived with them late Friday, and installed by Mark by lunchtime Monday. And it's quieter than the old one! Very happy!

Central Heating Programmer Replacement
We have used Rob - and Hertford Plumbers - on many occasions in the past. Replacement of old leaking hot water cylinder
An exact replacement was sourced and fitted within 24hours of the leak being identified. Time taken and cost was as quoted beforehand. Workmanship was professional and to a high standard. It was a pleasure to have John and Rob doing the work for me.

Great bathroom renovation
Both John and Rob were friendly and professional. They renovated our small bathroom, ripping everything out and replacing it with new fittings, some of which they suggested. They stuck to the schedule and budget, and were always very open with communicating what they were doing, when they would do it and how long it might take. Their finishing was superb, would definitely recommend.
