Polkadot did an excellent job. None of my bath tiles were broken; the shower head is excellent; grouting well applied. Very happy with the job.

Polkadot Plumbers installed a new sliding shower door 18 months ago. Yesterday it came off its rails and was too heavy for me to reinstall. A call to Polkadot this morning resulted in a visit booked for this afternoon. I agreed to the minimum one hour call-out fee. Henry, the engineer, was able to come earlier than booked and replaced the door within five minutes. He removed his shoes and was polite but friendly. Polkadot then invoiced me for only half an hour’s work: very good value for any urgent call-out.

I had a leak in the mains pipe, plus one in a radiator, and needed the boiler servicing so combined all the jobs in one. From the start I was impressed by the friendly service on the phone, I managed to get an appointment for the following morning, which actually ended up being earlier (which was very convenient) - the plumber was very friendly, knowledgeable, smart and quick. They did an brilliant job and I was very impressed with the value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Polkadot Plumbers, and would use them again in a flash.

I needed to find a new plumber after the one I’d been using for over 20 years retired and I contacted Polkadot Plumbers after reading their excellent reviews on Which? Trusted Traders – owner Jack promptly arranged for Jonathan to come round to replace my bathroom taps. Jonathan was unfazed by the decades-old plumbing and suggested adding flexible connectors to improve the connection between taps and pipes, and he made sure I was happy with his work before he left. A few days later, a previously suspected slow leak worsened and this time Harry arrived to investigate. Like Jonathan, Harry was calm and undaunted by the ancient pipework. The leak was caused by a pipe buried in the concrete floor and Harry returned a few days later to dig it up – though on his return, he suggested a less invasive option of rerouting the pipe, which also worked out cheaper. Both Harry and Jonathan were polite, calm and professional and they collected and disposed of the rubbish. Polkadot’s rates are clearly stated on their website and they are very competitive. I am happy to have found such an excellent company and I will certainly use them again in future!

I feel so blessed to have found this excellent plumbing company, and I can highly recommend Polkadot Plumbers: I was most impressed the first time I got in contact with the owner, of Polkadot Plumbers; as unfortunately, I had problems trying to book future appointments with another plumbing company! Not only was Jack polite, he was able to 'pencil in four appointments straight away for the dates I wanted, to coincide with the carpenter; as I'm doing extensive renovations in my home, especially as I'm having loads of renovation works done in my bathroom and kitchen, and it's important the plumber and carpenter are there at the same time! Egis, the plumber did an excellent and thorough job on the plumbing in my bathroom; as unfortunately, the pipe works were done badly, over 20 years ago, and it has now been corrected. I also like the fact, all quotes are fully itemised, and there is a price list on their website, and you know exactly what you are paying for.

I asked Jack to advise me on options for replacing a 13 year old shower sliding door unit. He recommended a better quality replacement. His team of two came on time and were very thorough and professional, removing and disposing of the old unit and installing the new one. They also resealed the shower and shower tray. They were polite and tidy and cleaned up at the end. My wife was very impressed.

Reliable, fast, reasonable and honest plumbers. Jonathan is very personable and helpful in explaining the workings behind issues. Wouldn't use anyone else!

90 minutes after my call to Jack Ronan my blocked loo was sorted. The plumbers were professional and courteous and I would not hesitate to recommend Polkadot Plumbers more highly. This is an excellent business.

This is the second time that I have used Polkadot Plumbers and I can honestly say it is a pleasure to work with them to resolve matters. From the friendly nature of the of immediate quote, to timing and guidance regarding initial consultation - to then possible remedies and time for the work To ultimately to trades person professional nature to solving the issue in the expedited time. This time it was only and pump underneath a sink - but the manner to which the problem was solved and solutions were provided it was greatly appreciated. May use again to re-furbish kitchen and bathroom in future. Great work from Jack and the team!

This is the first time I have used Polkadot Plumbers and I will definitely being doing again if I have further trouble. My apartment is not easy to get to and many other plumbers (local and/or well known with their primary coloured vans) won't visit or will ask for stupid waiting time allowances. The project was not easy considering the age of the property - 2 new ballstop valves, new toilet flush, sink waste pipe management, flexible piping for water storage heater. This was a constant problem for myself and also for the Trades person but the manner at which they calmly set about solving each task whilst keeping me informed of the progress and rationale for the issues was welcoming. No lies, tricks, delays... straight up problem solving and solutions. Great work from Jack and the Team!

We needed to replace our boiler (27 years old) and pressurised hot water cylinder. It was a tight fit in an existing cupboard. The team from Polkadot were excellent (Harry and Fred). They planned the job carefully; were thoughtful and keen to do a high quality job. They certainly did that! Really nicely organised pipework. So much better than what we had before. They were also pleasant to deal with. It is always stressful having this type of work done - no hot water for several days - but they did their best to keep inconvenience to a minimum and communicated well as the job progressed. Before the job started they gave a detailed estimate breaking down the time requirements and materials involved. So, overall I would have no hesitation in recommending them for a high quality job, fairly priced.

Not everyone wants to come and sort out a sewage problem and do it promptly, cheerfully, stay very late to get it done and apply independent thought to solving the problem. We strongly recommend the Polkadot sewage guys who were excellent putting their camera down and explaining all the way what they were finding, so we were really well informed. Plumbers Jonathon and Harry were efficient and smart. They helped by very carefully removing the loo and replacing it at the end, finding and solving more problems. Not a mark on the tiles when they finished, leaving everything clean and tidy.

I have used Polkadot Plumbers on two occasions now. They are 100% reliable and professional and I will continue to use them for all my plumbing needs. Truly great service.

We needed a new tap for our bathroom sink and wanted some remedial work done at the same time: removing and replacing mouldy sealant behind the sink and bathtub, replacing missing and mouldy grout, fixing a loose waste pipe, etc. We weren't sure we could find plumbers willing to undertake such fiddly work, but the reviews here made us think Polkadot Plumbers might be. We're very glad we called them - not only did they undertake the work and charge a fair price, but Jonathan did it to an extremely high standard and was very pleasant to deal with as well. We'll certainly be calling on Jack Ronan and his team for any future plumbing work we need done.
