We found Prelude through this website when we were looking to refit our kitchen and bathroom. Daniel and his team delivered an excellent work on time and within the budget. They displayed a large range of skills (including tiling, kitchen fitting, plumbing, electrical and decorating) all executed to a high standard. They did a fine job all round and I would definitely recommend them.

Prelude Property Services provided many different services for us over a number of years looking after a 200 year old house that always seemed to need maintenance. Danny priced jobs carefully and contributed a breadth of knowledge and advice as projects were developed. Over the years the Prelude team have undertaken roofing, internal and external decorations, plumbing including responding to emergencies, electrical work and carpentry. It's always been high quality, and I trusted them in the house to get on with it. Now that I have downsized to a modern flat they are helping to get that straight too. This is a small, friendly company that demands commitment and high standards from their team, from office to site.

I am the property manager for a city based company, we have used prelude on a number of our offices and at our listed head office building. The workmanship has always been of the highest standards and the advise they offer often saves time and money on jobs they offer. I would recommend Prelude for their commitment ,workmanship , and expert advice. Prices have always been reasonable no matter if it was a small job or large refurbishment.

Prelude carry out all our maintained works over various sites in the London area. This includes emergency call outs where they are always fast to respond. No job is ever a problem.

I needed a complete bathroom refurbishment for a property I let for my Mum. The tenants were in the property at the time so I needed a company I could trust and who would be considerate of their needs. Luckily I found Prelude recommended by Which? They quoted for removal of all tiles, fittings and pipework, and a new suite with associated new electrics, plumbing, wall and floor tiles. The quote was the second highest out of the five I received, but worth every penny because of their superb workmanship and their excellent customer service. The work was carried out on schedule and they communicated really well with myself and the tenants. Jean in the office kept me updated on the progress and answered all of my questions. Prelude have restored my faith in the building industry and I recommend them whole heartedly. I will be using them for all future projects.

Following a leak I needed the redecoration of part of the kitchen walls and ceiling. I also asked Daniel to have a look at 2 doors for which I required replacement locks. He confirmed that he'll "Get back to me" concerning the cost of replacing the locks but he went ahead with replacing the locks without giving me a chance to agree the cost. When I queried him about this, he got rather argumentative, trying to infer that I was in the wrong here. When I could get a word in and reminded him that he'd made this commitment in writing, he then offered to come over to remove the locks. All I wanted was an explanation, a simple 'Sorry I forgot' maybe? He did return to clean paint splashes left on the worktops.

Prelude had the skills and flexibility to undertake a refurbishment and re-decoration of a central London flat whilst occupied by professional tenants. Workmen were both efficient and trustworthy, and Danny ensured good communication with both the tenants and the Client landlord throughout the project.

We used Prelude to fix some slipped roof tiles and maintenance work to the guttering. The work was carried out quickly and cleanly. The guys were very friendly and efficient. Very happy with the work.

The bathroom in the flat I rent was refitted by Prelude. The fitter: was totally reliable, courteous, and did a great job, going the extra mile to ensure the new bathroom was perfect. Communication: Timely communication, Prelude is easy to contact and responds quickly. Punctuality: Always on time. Cleanliness: The fitter was respectful and always tidied up after each day's work. Clarity: Danny, the owner clearly explains the work to be done. Professionalism: Prelude take a lot of pride in their work Quality of work: I am delighted with the end result and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

We found prelude very honest and considerate when carrying out work on our Patio. They helped us match the concrete slabs as best as possible, Danny was clear with what they had todo to achieve what we wanted and work was carried out to schedule. Budget was discussed prior to work which was very transparent. Really good communication and friendly tradesmen.

Danny Beecham and his team did, in my opinion, an excellent job replacing floor joists and fixing a large section of Trinity Hall floor. Working alongside a Nursery, his team worked quickly and efficiently to cause as little disruption as possible while providing a high standard of work. I have no problem in recommending Prelude Property Services. We will be using them again before the year is out.

Danny, Dean and Terry were excellent in their professionalism, customer service and general all-round behaviour! They came out to renovate our bathroom and other smaller bits around the flat such as ceilings and walls. They were very accommodating with our initial request - they even came out twice when we wanted to alter bits to our original quote. They then delivered the work only a week or so later, and were on time each day and very friendly, and looked after the place - kept it neat and tidy each day before they left. They were accommodating with our needs, we added on bits throughout the process and were overall really helpful and considerate builders. Seemed like genuinely nice guys to have around!

I used Prelude to install a shower, new lighting and build some shelving. They were great at communicating. The work was great quality and exactly the price quoted. I wouldn’t hesitate to commission them again or recommend them to friends or family.

Danny, Dean and Terry are a great team who work with great professionalism. They installed and decorated our en-suite and did an excellent job. Our spare bedroom wall had a massive crack in it and the window had blown. They quoted for the work to finish another time once they'd investigated the cause. I came home from work and to my delight Dean had already repaired the wall as he had everything needed on the van and a new window pane was on order. We would definitely recommend the Prelude team. They always tidy up after themselves too!

I contacted Danny at Prelude Property Services on behalf of my daughter who needed a new bathroom. The experience was first class from start to finish. Danny quickly visited and gave an estimate, was very clear about what was included and communication was very good. Dean and Terry completed the work to a high standard and were clean and tidy. They were incredibly good natured and there were no dramas, for example, when the delivery of items were delayed. They finished the work on time and on price. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Danny and his team were great in helping us fix a broken plug socket. It was a fiddly job and they delivered well! I posted him the keys so he could access the property when I wasn't there and he posted them back all safe and secure. We trust these guys to do a good job, would recommend to our friends!
