Highlights

"The requested plumbing work was quoted very competitively by Roman and he accepted the requested date to do the job. Roman arrived promptly on the day, carried out the work to a very high and neat standard and kept me informed of progress and asked for additional input throughout. The kitchen area was left in a very clean and tidy state after he'd finished. I will definitely be using Roman again for other plumbing work and would not hesitate to recommend him to family, friends or other readers here on Checkatrade. Excellent service and great workmanship. Thank you."

Gas work is restricted by law to Gas Safe registered engineers. If they'll touch a boiler or any gas appliance, confirm they're currently on the register before you hire - it's free and takes a minute.

Smart checks

Before you hire a gas engineer

By law, anyone working on your gas appliances must be on the Gas Safe Register — ask to see their Gas Safe ID card and check the licence number at gassaferegister.co.uk before they start.
Never let an unregistered person touch your gas: unsafe gas work risks carbon monoxide poisoning, fire and explosion, and is a criminal offence.
For a boiler or appliance install, get the work and price in writing and keep the Gas Safe / Building Regulations certificate they are required to give you.
Confirm they cover your area and can actually come out in your timeframe before anything else.
Read recent reviews for reliability and turning up on time — not only the quality of the work.
