I have over 30 years of experience in property management, RS Contractors NW Ltd is the worst contractor I have come across. They agreed to do a drain unblocking job at a very high price, said will give a 6 month guarantee, the next day the drain was blocked again, they said they will not come back to resolve. The did not do the job as specified, came across very unprofessional. I cannot recommend this trader.
Poor service, high cost, and unresolved issues We had a very disappointing experience with this company. The service was extremely expensive and what was delivered did not meet expectations. Communication was inconsistent, and despite repeated follow‑ups, an invoice has still not been provided. Due to the lack of response, a third party became involved in an attempt to resolve the matter. Unfortunately, even with their involvement, the situation remains unresolved, which is very concerning. Given the high cost, poor follow‑up, and lack of basic professionalism, I cannot recommend this company. Customers should proceed with caution.

Before you hire a plumber
Agree the call-out fee, the hourly or fixed rate, and whether parts are charged on top — in writing — before an emergency plumber starts. Out-of-hours overcharging and 'while I'm here' add-ons are common complaints.
Be wary of a plumber who, on a first visit, says your whole system or boiler must be replaced — get a second opinion and an itemised quote (parts and labour separately) before agreeing to major work.
Gas and boiler work is a separate, regulated trade — not general plumbing. Make sure anyone working on a gas appliance is specifically registered to do gas work, and ask to see that registration before they start.
Look for consistent reviews across several named sources, not one polished profile.
Check any verified credentials, and that the business details independently check out.
