“Heavy rain resulted in a damp patch on living room wall due to the flashing at base of chimney requiring replacing. A quick check on Trusted Traders revealed that local roofing specialists, Stace Roofing, were highly regarded in this area. Although the firm was booked up for weeks ahead, Andrew Stace was able to come and inspect the damage the following day and make a quick but effective repair before doing a thorough job a few weeks later. The work ethic of the 2 young roofers was exemplary and the job completed and site cleared up to our complete satisfaction. No hesitation recommending.”

Needed a small flat roof replaced, so contacted this local company. Process was a little heavy (many calls and emails from them), and a few (unrealistic) promises given about possible dates for the work. Biggest issue is that their standard Terms and Conditions do not actually reflect the rest of their quote details, and require rapid payment before starting (25%) and after installation (75%) without any guarantees of work dates etc. The implications of the terms are quite serious, and need to be toned down a lot if customers are to be secure against any problems,
