First time we have used Thanet Drainage. They contacted us to arrange a suitable time, then Simon also phoned to confirm when he was on his way. Simon attended, he unblocked our drain, he was knowledgeable, proffesional & friendly. He also cleaned up when he was finished. Price was as advertised. After an incredibly stressful experience with another company that charged excessive prices without fixing the problem, finding this company was a breath of fresh air. They arranged a visit for the very next day and resolved the blocked drain quickly, efficiently, and with no hidden or additional costs. We had a leak over the Christmas period. We called Simon at Thanet Drainage and he and a colleague attended quickly. Despite being a difficult to access leak they carefully dug out the site causing minimum damage and fixed the leak as well as filling in the hole and repairing the groundwork. The work was done within the estimated cost. Subsequently there was a further leak a little further up where a connection had come loose. Simon was back round super fast to sort that out as well. I would definitely recommend Simon and team.

I used this company for the first time. during an extreme rainy day I noted over flow of water from gutter. I was told by the person that does clean gutter that the pipe under foot path is blocked. Peter was very understanding on the phone. His team came within a day and tried to unblock the pipe by pressure jet. It did not work so they had to dig out the pipe which I saw and was fully blocked. They replaced it within half a day after I agreed with the quote. Peter's team were very polite and very much concentrated on the job. If I need, I will use this company again. Thank you.

I needed a rodding eye installation on my cast iron soil pipe and CCTV survey of drainage. Peter spoke to me on numerous occasions, with such kindness, patience and reassurance, with a thousand questions I had. I booked the job and their engineer Leo came to do the job for me. Leo was excellent and went over and above the job quoted for me. Also Leo was a very kind efficient and helpful young man, with great customer service and Drainage skills. Thanet drainage provided their pre-purchase CCTV report on the drains for a Grade 2 listed property. Everything about their service was top notch and I would highly recommend their services. Their report is extensive and clear. They also provide their estimate for remedial works in a separate letter that can easily be forwarded to the vendor. I’d also add that every purchaser should get a CCTV drains report done because it can reveal things that you can’t check yourself, your Homebuyer report won’t include and the vendor may not know about either.

The company agreed a date and time for the clearance and provided an estimate in advance. All went smoothly as planned, and the operative was extremely pleasant throughout, even though the actual blockage was quite difficult to clear. I happily recommend this company.

Waste water was coming up in the utility room sink and also flooding back into the washing machine. Phoned Thanet Drainage after reading Checkatrade reviews. Communication was excellent. Arrived as advised. Friendly, tidy workmen. Problem resolved quickly and advice given about a hidden gully. Both sinks fully operational. Very happy with the work done and cost of the job. The work was carried out over 2 days, and I’m extremely impressed by their work and friendly manner, keeping me informed on everything they were doing. I engaged Thanet Drainage for the first time after reading the reviews online. The initial work was to clean the drains. This was done within a couple of days. During those works, a problem was discovered with the gully and the company contacted me to explain this and to provide a quote for the works. I agreed for the works to be carried out. This was also done within a few days It's worth mentioning the speed, efficiency and absolute freindliness when contacting Thanet Drainage. The service is simply superb. Communication of the highest level and the guys on the ground were a credit.

Had a badly blocked drain and called Thanet Drainage to resolve. Was very impressed with the fast response and communication. They had to delay their arrival slightly but let me know and checked it was ok. They carried out a thorough job, cleaned up after themselves and did a free survey afterwards and provided recommendations to prevent recurrence without any pressure to pay for any immediate follow up. Cost was competitive and they were a pleasure to deal with - highly recommend based on my experience with them.
