“Despite consulting and having work undertaken by several plumbers and a drains expert we were unable to eliminate intermittent sewer odours in our bathroom. After investigation, Wicklen identified badly configured and damaged piping plus ineffective venting as being the likely source of the problem. Explaining and demonstrating the necessary remedial work it was conducted in a thoroughly neat and professional manner. The net result was improved waste flow, renewed drains, as necessary, effective venting, a neater exterior finish at the rear of our bungalow and most importantly, elimination of sewer odours in our bathroom. All work was conducted in a thoroughly professional manner, a top job.”

I initially spoke to Keith to seek advice regarding a blocked soakaway. He took the time to explain in detail my options. Within a few days a survey of my drains took place, plan of action agreed and the following day Keith, Harvee and Dan started the work. They were extremely professional, respectful and worked really hard. They clearly had great pride in their work and left my property neat and tidy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
Replaced drain and piping works from downstairs to the main drain as pipe had spilt and was leaking causing damp issues.
This company are excellent! Keith found my problem within minutes, where others had missed it, then proceeded to deal with it very efficiently. I was kept informed every step of the way and cannot fault the team in any way. They kept the site clean and tidy and replaced terrace slabs and tarmac exactly as they were before. At the end of the job you would not have known that there had been any excavations. I would recommend this company to anyone.

We contacted Wicklen Ltd as our garage kept flooding. A survey was arranged immediately, which identified various other issues in 100 year old drainage system. These were clearly explained & thorough plan of works recommended. The team completed the works over the next 7 days in an extremely professional & tidy manner. We were kept informed at every stage, & are delighted with the results which have improved the drainage and appearance of our home immeasurably. An extremely experienced, professional, friendly, hard working team, & we could not have wished to work with better people. Thank you
Blocked Drainage Pipe - We called Keith at Wicklen's as we had a smell inside the school but could not find the problem. Their lovely team came out did a camera survey in the drains and quickly discovered a collapsed drain pipe in the staff room causing a blockage. Over a few days the concrete floor was dug up, blockage removed, pipe replaced and concrete floor and carpet tiles back down. We were up and running. Very clean workers 5 Stars !

Having recently bought our house we asked Wicklen to replace some of the old clay drains. Keith came out to us promptly and agreed to undertake the work in the new year. We were kept informed throughout the work and everything was left clean and tidy. We would use again and trust the team’s knowledgeable and experience.
Keith and his team were very diligent and paid attention to detail at every stage of the replacement drainage project. We were kept informed at all times and given a full briefing at each stage of the works, and what was going to be done the following day. Once the work was completed they swept & cleaned our property leaving it in good order. I would recommend Wicklen to others based upon their attention to detail and quality of work. I intend to use them again in 2024.
