Highlights

"James was very helpful, professional & flexible. And the work done was of a high standard. I would hire him again."

"James was fantastic. Very friendly, punctual and left everything neat. Took his time, explained things. My issue was a leaky radiator which had leaked a substantial amount of water under my carpet. He fixed the leaked and lifted a part of the carpet for me so I could lift the rest and dry off any water. My combi was a different problem however as it had a leak on the pipe which he tried to fix though this was not one of my job requests. He gave me a genuine feeling of someone who cares. He also charged me a super competitive price. Highly recommend him."

"From the moment I spoke to James we just knew the person for the work we needed doing, took time out to advise us on what shower was to needed to fit where the old one was . And even took time out to come a make sure all the shower times were all there. kept us informed all the way through out the job. With out a doubt would recommend James and call him for any other jobs I need doing. Even have him the keys to the house so he could come and go while doing the work. A FANTASTIC trades man ! And his attention to detail is fantastic to boot!"

Gas work is restricted by law to Gas Safe registered engineers. If they'll touch a boiler or any gas appliance, confirm they're currently on the register before you hire - it's free and takes a minute.

Smart checks

Before you hire a gas engineer

By law, anyone working on your gas appliances must be on the Gas Safe Register — ask to see their Gas Safe ID card and check the licence number at gassaferegister.co.uk before they start.
Never let an unregistered person touch your gas: unsafe gas work risks carbon monoxide poisoning, fire and explosion, and is a criminal offence.
For a boiler or appliance install, get the work and price in writing and keep the Gas Safe / Building Regulations certificate they are required to give you.
Confirm they cover your area and can actually come out in your timeframe before anything else.
Read recent reviews for reliability and turning up on time — not only the quality of the work.
