They do a lot of work for us and are very good.
A radiator spurting hot water and couldn't stop it. Called 4 plumbers without success. P&R; were polite and willing to help from the start - despite it being 8.30 pm. I texted my address and received a call within minutes to say it hadn't been received and could I send it again? Miraculously, my son was able to stop the water by fixing the radiator. Rang P&R;, who had already set off, left a message. Was called back within a minute. After explaining, P&R; reassured me that it should be fine now. Courteous and professional. I will be storing their number!

Paul and Robert came to our rescue and fixed our boiler within an hour of calling them and even had the part in their van, will be keeping their number for future work
Paul and his team were very professional throughout the work they carried out on my bathroom. They went out of their way to make sure the job was carried out on time and to the highest standard.
I called p&r plumbing at 5pm Friday night. Very quick response and fixed my boiler no problem. Would highly recommend.

Before you hire a plumber
Agree the call-out fee, the hourly or fixed rate, and whether parts are charged on top — in writing — before an emergency plumber starts. Out-of-hours overcharging and 'while I'm here' add-ons are common complaints.
Be wary of a plumber who, on a first visit, says your whole system or boiler must be replaced — get a second opinion and an itemised quote (parts and labour separately) before agreeing to major work.
Gas and boiler work is a separate, regulated trade — not general plumbing. Make sure anyone working on a gas appliance is specifically registered to do gas work, and ask to see that registration before they start.
Look for consistent reviews across several named sources, not one polished profile.
Check any verified credentials, and that the business details independently check out.
