"Dan plastered two cupboards/voids that used to house water tanks. This included adding a ceiling and some stud wall work. He added extra woodwork in the stud wall to support clothes rails as requested. The work was all completed to a high standard in the expected timeframe, and the carpenter had no trouble fitting out the cupboards afterwards. This is the second time we've had him over to do work for us, and we're just as pleased as the first time. Highly recommended."

Agree the call-out fee, the hourly or fixed rate, and whether parts are charged on top — in writing — before an emergency plumber starts. Out-of-hours overcharging and 'while I'm here' add-ons are common complaints.
