He ensured everything was covered over and he made no mess, ensuring he tidied up after he had finished as well. I am very happy with the end result and I would highly recommend! I was worried he wouldn’t be able to tackle my poor attempt at plasterboarding but he managed with ease!"

I asked Peter for a quote to do some work well in advance and he gave me a well priced quote and didn’t pressure me to book him in. I later booked him in and he carried out the work to a very high standard. He was polite, punctual and did a cracking job. Agree the call-out fee, the hourly or fixed rate, and whether parts are charged on top — in writing — before an emergency plumber starts. Out-of-hours overcharging and 'while I'm here' add-ons are common complaints.
