Highlights

"George was brilliant! Responded to an emergency call out on a Sunday. Diagnosed the issue over video immediately and brought the part with him so it could be fixed straight away. Great knowledge and service."

AnonymousCheckatrade5.0 rating

"Great service, nothing to fault. George was able to diagnose the issue virtually which meant he came with the correct parts. He arrived when he said he would and identifed several other issues with the under floor heating which he was able to resolve on the spot, all whilst charging a fair price. Would thoroughly recommend"

"George came at the weekend and fixed my boiler. I had found a local Gas Safety Registered Plumber on their website, but he had no idea what he was doing, he said I may have four problems. Then I paid Vaillant who made my boiler to come out, they found a faulty Printed Circuit Board, didn't think they could source a replacement, then they did, then they said the boiler was "beyond economical repair". Finally, I was able to contact George at Pro Plumbing. My parents had used George for years with their rare boiler. George found a replacement PCB and got my boiler working. Thanks so much George!"

Smart checks

Before you hire a gas engineer

By law, anyone working on your gas appliances must be on the Gas Safe Register — ask to see their Gas Safe ID card and check the licence number at gassaferegister.co.uk before they start.
Never let an unregistered person touch your gas: unsafe gas work risks carbon monoxide poisoning, fire and explosion, and is a criminal offence.
For a boiler or appliance install, get the work and price in writing and keep the Gas Safe / Building Regulations certificate they are required to give you.
Confirm they cover your area and can actually come out in your timeframe before anything else.
Read recent reviews for reliability and turning up on time — not only the quality of the work.
